No Loss Time

It is always important to stay in contact with, and keep your doctor informed about your injury because the key to a successful No Loss Time Claim is your willingness to try any modified work your employer is suggesting for you.

If you have not already started to keep a journal, then you should begin right away! A journal will help you keep track of everything you are dealing with both physically and emotionally. Something may not feel important today, but down the road, could be a key issue or piece of information.

Cooperating with your employer should not be done if it means you are going against your doctor's advice. But once you have attempted the work and you just can't do it (it exceeds your limitations) it is time to book an appointment and meet with a WorkAid & Associates Claims Specialist.

Our job is to ensure that you are receiving the help you require to both feel better and get back to your pre-accident job. This help will include all possible avenues of rehabilitation, physiotherapy, or medication.

Loss Time Claim

A Loss Time Claim is more complex than a No Loss Time Claim and may result in a significant increase in the number of benefits available. In some cases, these kinds of claims can last for many years; from injury to rehabilitation to re-entry (if possible) to the work force. Because of the length of time that may be involved it is a good idea for you to keep a journal and maintain regular contact with your Doctor.

Now you may be asking, when is it the right time to contact WorkAid & Associates? We believe it is never too early to get the help and support you deserve. Our free consultation could change your future.
